Our company produces two different qualities mountain potatoes: DESIREE e MONNA LISA. Our crops are located in the upper Susa Valley, in locations Rollieres, a 1500 m altitude.
DESIREE
Desiree potato is a potato yellow flesh, with red peel; enough soda, suitable for all uses. Delicate flavor, slightly powdery and not very moist. It has an average dry matter content comprised between 18-22%. Quite as good as potato salad, excellent baked and fried, and for the preparation of dumplings and mashed.
MONNALISA
The potato is a potato Monnalisa yellow skin and yellow flesh, very regular oval shape. It 'a potato rather firm and peels off just after cooking, This feature makes it ideal for all uses but is excellent for making dumplings.
